Rhianna Hughes-Eddy

Community Ranger

Rhianna’s one of our go-to community rangers for all questions related to Predator Free South Westland.

She joined the team in 2022 after previous roles on the Coast with the NZ Landcare Trust and Department of Conservation.

Rhianna has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and a Masters degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from John Carroll University in Ohio. With a background in biology and education, she is excited to be working closely with the local community to engage and inform about the project.

Life is fairly busy with her young family but she enjoys alpine tramping when she can.
