Duncan oversees field operations, supporting both the South Westland and Te Manahuna Aoraki teams with work planning and logistics.
After graduating with a degree in Ecology from Canterbury University, Duncan joined the Department of Conservation. For the majority of his time working for DOC, Duncan was based at Franz Josef working on the Rowi (Ōkārito Brown Kiwi) Recovery Project.
Duncan is currently based in Hokitika, but spends a large proportion of his time in the field, keeping him grounded in the work and involved in the progressive thinking that is the hallmark of ZIP’s operations.
